Fantastic Resources for Online Fundraising Training

As regular readers know, in addition to our fundraising “how-to” and motivational articles, podcasts, and newsletter, from time to time I like to post great links from around the web that present good information for non-profit fundraisers.

Today, I wanted to focus on online fundraising training – particularly, online fundraising “how-to” videos and slideshows that would be helpful for development pros. Here are some of the best sources I have found:

Network for Good

The training section of Network for Good is a fantastic resource for non-profit fundraisers, presenting hundreds of slide-show videos on topics ranging from writing donor appeal letters to designing good fundraising cultivation programs. The videos are free, but you do have to register and provide your e-mail address, as well as download their slideshow viewer. Click here for training videos from Network for Good.

Movie Mondays for Fundraising Professionals

Each week, 501 Videos emails out a free, short video with great tips and stories on non-profit fundraising. All you have to do is sign-up and you’ll receive an e-mail each time they release a new free fundraising video. Click here to sign up for free Movie Mondays.

Training and Seminars from The Fundraising Coach

Our friend Marc Pitman (“The Fundraising Coach”) offers a number of phenomenal fundraising videos and online seminars on his website. Topics include how to make a fundraising ask, fundraising on the web, and creating donor evangelists. Click here to see everything Marc has to offer.
