Expert personalized help is one of the most important things non-profits need to maximize their fundraising efforts.  I work with a number of non-profit Executive Directors, Development Directors, and board members each year to coach them through the process of reaching the development goals they set for their organizations.

When you sign up for fundraising coaching, you get a 60 minute one-on-one coaching call with me every other week, plus unlimited e-mail support for questions and fundraising emergencies.  During the coaching calls, we can go over strategy, develop new fundraising tactics, answer questions, troubleshoot, and bounce fundraising ideas around.  The goal for fundraising coaching is to give you personalized support that allows your non-profit to reach your fundraising goals in record time.

Who I Am

For more than fifteen years, I have been working with organizations to exponentially grow their fundraising.

As the Executive Director of BLOCS (an $8 million / year non-profit), I implemented a brand new fundraising system that allowed the organization to radically increase its fundraising revenue (including launching a new endowment, doubling the revenue from the annual fundraising event to over half a million dollars, and implementing a new board structure that allowed for increased board participation in fundraising initiatives.)

As the Director of Development at The Philadelphia Children’s Alliance, I built a professional development office from scratch, launching a successful program to increase government funding by 100%, negotiating the charity’s first multi-year six-figure gift, and developing a major giving program that has resulted in drastically increased giving to the organization by individuals and corporations.

As a fundraising consultant to both non-profit organizations and political campaigns, I have successfully built six- and seven-figure fundraising organizations from scratch, developed scalable fundraising operations and strategies for non-profits both large and small, solicited major gifts from individuals, companies, and foundations, and have helped multiple charities move from living “check to check” to being strong, thriving, sustainable organizations. 

I am the author of How to Raise More Money for Any Non-Profit, The Non-Profit Fundraising Formula, and numerous other books on non-profit development.  I am a frequent speaker on fundraising topics at non-profit seminars and conventions, and I host the popular The Fundraising Authority Podcast.

  • If people are properly introduced to your organization – and properly cultivated – they will want to financially support your non-profit.
  • The job of your non-profit is to build new fundraising networks that will properly introduce your organization to new donors, and to build a scalable system for cultivating those donors and moving them to making a significant gift.
